Greg aka "Wig" found his way into the Privateers during the 1994 Bridge Street Festival. He says he has always had the nickname thus saving his fellow crewe mates the trouble of finding one for him.

Like most of the Pirates, a desire to help children and the local community were the driving forces behind his desire to join the Privateers. His favorite event is Kids Day because of the happiness the children derive from the day.

Originally hailing from Clearfield, PA he now is self employed in the manufacturing field and oversees all shipping and receiving - handy experience since he is a past Captain and is currently President of the Privateers.

When the duties of the Privateers and his "real life" give him some breathing space, Wig can be found fishing, hunting or traveling. He also manages to coach the local children at the Anna Maria Island Community Center
