While sedately sipping a cocktail at the Redneck Chinese Bar in 2007, he was shanghaied by the Privateers and the rest is history.

His pirate career began in January of 2007 and he became an official pirate on June 20th of that year.

He is the Oldest Known Powder Monkey but prefers to be called "Lieutenant of Cannons and Black Powder (at least to his face)!

Carver says he got his pirate name because he is "good with blades and such", but the rumors of a drunken evening with some meat persist.

Carver says he enjoys doing all kinds of things in order to give back to the betterment of the community and his favorite pirate function is the 4th of July Parade since that's when we give out all of the scholarship money we worked all year to raise.

In the mundane real world carver is President of North River Air conditioning, Inc. He enjoys golf, Harley's partying and couch potatoing (his word, not ours).

He is also a member of AmVets Post 301 (US Army).
