| Ron "CandyMan" comes to the Privateers via Hamilton, Ohio -- he joined this most amazing and fabulous group of pirates when he was shang-hai'd by Hammer. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Pharmacist) and works at Winn Dixie (but not in fruits and vegetables). CandyMan earned his name because "I deal in drugs and hammer gave me the name -- apparently he was happy with my service" (we think it was Preparation H, but the story is aspirin).
CandyMan joined because of the WOMEN and the parades (he actually loves working with others for a good cause - 'cause kids and community are good. He admits to being a "trekkie" big time and is proud that he survived the tubulent 60's, fought heavyweight karate at 185 lbs (hmmm, that's good to know in the pirate business). He owns 2 boys and 1 wife (33 years) |
